Welcome to Aberdeen LAC
The Local Area Coordination service will end on 31st March 2019. If you get support from a health or social care worker or organisation please get in touch with them in the first instance to discuss alternative supports or services. To find out more about what local services are available in Aberdeen please visit the ALISS website https://www.aliss.org/ which will provide you with all the information.
Local Area Coordination (LAC) Aberdeen is a free service for people with learning disabilities who are over the age of 16 and live in Aberdeen city.
LAC help people build an independent life by introducing them to social and leisure activities, voluntary work and training opportunities as well as providing travel training and road safety.
We strongly believe that people with learning disabilities should be able to participate in all aspects of community and society, and we work with groups and organisations to help them become more welcoming and inclusive.
